I harvested peppers yesterday, and was pleasantly surprised to find a ton of entirely red peppers! Green peppers are great, but red peppers are in a league of their own for taste. I love roasting them in the oven. Yum.
Floating in the wash bin like this, they remind me of those mcdonald's plastic play balls that you could dive into as a kid.
While digging potatoes, we unearthed a clump of perfectly round white eggs. Farmer Dave says these are snapping turtle eggs! Johnny was pretty excited about them.
They are going to bury them next to their house so they can watch them when they hatch.
